Is BB - BIS = Brick?

How effective would a BB be without BIS? Besides BBM would anything else be offline?

Reason: looking at a BB on a data bundle instead of BIS. Me have no money for new phone now.

Without his it is a brick though, been there while I lent a phone when mine broke... Didn't get BIS was a mission to add to contract, just ran whatsapp..

With a bundle u can do most normal things ie Internet and whatsapp, just nothing that runs through BIS, I had a bundle with whatsapp and mews24 and just browsed the web as usual.

Its a brick without bis. Rather sell your bb and get another phone if you're not interested in bis.

you can still connect to whatsapp and internet using your normal airtime.

I have never used BBM.
