    Hi,
Thanks for your message. Your account was banned for emulator/youwave use. Youwave is an unsupported client. Since it is unsupported, we can not assist you in registering the app in Youwave. Please purchase or use a supported device in order to continue using WhatsApp.

Seems your laptop is running Android, which requires the Youwave emulator. That emulator is not supported by whatsapp and therefore whatsapp will not work...

Did you do something naughty? Use some unlicenced software? Friend uses YouWave on his PC and says it works quite well, if a bit buggy

They are probably trying to stop potential fake accounts? How does the emulator recognize the sim/cell number, or doesn't it?

Perhaps if you had install and register on a mobile first and then just install and log in on the emulator it would work?

Perhaps this is a silly question but why don't WhatsApp create a client for non-GSM devices? Ie. PCs and Wifi tablets? You could marry numbers to an account easily couldn't you? It's not using some special network protocol is it?
