    Default Cell C - ridiculous service!

    Hi all,

    Hoping someone on this forum is able to help. I need a contact at Cell C, of someone that is higher up than in their contact centre. I have been fighting a losing battle for almost a year now with a 3G dongle that was faulty, sent back to the V&A store, to never have it returned but receiving bills every month for the contract as well as usage - for a dongle not in my possession.

    I have called, emailed, received confirmation that the dongle contract was cancelled and that I would receive a refund, blah blah, but am still billed every month and no sign of any refund.

    Cell C are crap. Their customer service is non existent. Rather pay more and go with another provider who at least answer your phone calls and don't keep you hanging in line to just drop the call.

    Man I am frustrated. Can you gather? ;p

    I just want someone to take actual ownership of this problem and help me resolve it so that I can move on and never deal with them again. Simple!

    The CPA is your friend. If the amount is less than R12000 you can also go to the Small Claims Court

    I know, but what a mission. You would think that there is one person within Cell C that would actually give a damn?

    Contact the Cell C rep here on myBB. By the way, why don't you instruct your bank to not allow payments to Cell C? Why keep paying?

    I have a second dongle on that same account which one of my technical guys is using. So I cannot cancel the debit order. I am however considering doing that and just paying more for a Vodacom package which would still work out cheaper with this mess up from Cell C.

    I see. Make this your last resort, and first give the Cell C rep a chance to sort it out for you. He has been effective in the past if I recall correctly.
