There's no cost to port from Cell C to Vodacom if you are on prepaid.

Just buy a 99c for Real starter pack. The instructions are on the package.

Read first, including the back, before inserting the sim in the phone

Cancellation charges are massive, you could phone Vodacom on 111 and hear what they say.

It should go something like this:
R150 per month (for the remaining time of your contract) + Cash price of the phone + cancellation fee = HUGE PRICE

    Good luck

I switched to Cell C today, from a pre-paid number though.
admin process took 5 min, number was ported within 6 hours..

Looking forward to 1 recharge for both data and voice, and not having to pay ridiculous VC prices anymore, nor having to worry about bundle expiry. good riddance.

I also want to port soon. Do you need to RICA the new sim? As I am renting a flat, getting a proof of address is a pain in the ass.

I've just ported from Vodacom to Cell C. Cancelled my Vodacom contract (Talk 350) 4 months early (Only cost me R950). Ported the number with 1 phone call to Cell C help desk.
