    Default Cannot Access My Modem/Router

I upgraded my mweb billion router firmware but now cannot access it.
I can ping 192.1.168.254 but cannot access it thru my browser.
the adsl and ppp lights do not light up at all.
I tried restarting, resetting but still cannot get it to work.
This is what info I can get when I run ipconfig/all:

In IE it is under Communication settings. Similarly in Chrome.

I suspect that the upgrade might have corrupted the firmware for some reason, maybe a mains spike during the upgrade process. I would really try and put the old firmware back, or you might have bricked it. I did it once with a DVD writer which died after a firmware upgrade. Restoring the old version and then doing the upgrade a second time fixed it.

If you haven't already done so, power cycle the router & pc. Leave off for 30 secs before switching on again.
You only get one chance to piss off a client. After that they are an ex client ...

You might have to bite the bullet and get a new one. There is little difference between makes, so do not spend an excessive amount

Router's configuration page is outside you subnet, no TCP packets will leave your subnet.
Your router page is 192.1.168.254. With your subnet mask you need to set (temporary) PC address in the range 192.1.168.0-253. Once you have access to routers's configuration page, change routers page IP address to match your subnet (192.168.1.xxx), reboot router, revert to automatic IP settings on PC, in that order.
    Code:
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.100(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 04 August 2012 08:04:59 AM
    Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 04 August 2012 08:04:58 PM
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254
    DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254

Router is within the subnet... that is if he's router is indeed 192.168.1.254.

Maybe try holding the reset button for about 10s to reset to default... Else you can always netinstall
