In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavour.
    So this is treason no?
No I'm not rude, just honest.

I know that marching/rioting does not equal treason. They are not trying to overthrow government just get cash monies for their taxi friends.

    See this here:
“But if we do not get that, we will not back down or retreat from the statements we have made to make this province ungovernable."
Now that sounds a tad like treason doesn't it?

So they can't mobilise enough supporters to win a majority on election day?
How are they going to mobilise enough people in support of this "March"?
    I predict an EPIC fail!

These include a detailed timeline for better housing, sanitation and basic toilet facilities.
They (The ANCYL) should be sending this timeline request to National Government and they know it!
Housing is a National Government function.
Local Government provides the power, sewerage and water points and scrutinise the plans thereof and in some cases Housing Projects have been entertained with the City's limited budget.
As Zille is not in charge of National Government and the big pool of money, how can she provide a timeline for housing?

What actually happens, National Government allocate funds to the different provinces, but in most cases I think what happens and most definitely what does happen in the Western Cape, the funds are all earmarked to projects of their (The ANC's) choosing. It is not like the Provincial Government or The City of Cape Town get funds from National Government they can access or do with as they choose, it is all pre-decided, that is if any funds are provided at all.

If my assumptions are true or have substance and it is plausible that the ANCYL know all these things, then they are either ignorant or spin doctoring for attention.
All that will happen is Lansdowne Road will be closed off again, people won't be able to get to work and therefore forfeit a days pay.

While it is not funny living in a shack in the quagmire in winter, it is of their own choosing. These people had to of come from somewhere and usually each one of these people have houses in the Eastern Cape.

Our rates and taxes were never meant to pay for housing?

Bacially, the ANCYL should be marching on Parliament, their delivery address is incorrect.

    As you said:
Treason is the crime that covers some of the more extreme acts against one's sovereign or nation.
If they were attacking parliament or making this a nationwide event I would agree on the definition.

Yeeeep only because it is the DA, as mentioned already what about the Majority of the country where service delivery is worse BUT under the cANCer.

Another dirty play by the cANCer and the idiots support it.

‘Cape dogs more important than poor’

They say that communities are judged by the way they treat the elderly, children, and their domestic animals. So if it is true that the city look after their animals it Then indicate our degree of humanity. The individuals stoning an old man driving his putco bus that led to his death are animals not deserving any sympathy. I say shoot the Bafoons.
You know on the days when I don't have access to the news, I normally take dog sh*t and smear it all over my eyes and ears to simulate the effect of listening to or reading about what the ANC has to say.
Without derailing this thread as domestic animals are not part of the equation I would like to point out that thousands of animals have to be destroyed in the Townships due to abuse and neglect. if you can stomach it, drive out to the Animal Welfare in Philippii, take with you an adam's apple support and some tissues.
People who don't look after their animals don't deserve houses.
