Yeah, I thought I might not come down so bad due to the fact that I wasn't feeling that bad last night, but this morning when I woke up I felt awful. Worst part is that the weather in Stellenbosch was awful, and I had to go out to write an online quiz in my one class today. I would get an incomplete mark for the course if I missed it without a valid doctor's certificate, and I didn't want to go to the doctor and shell out R300 for influenza, because I just require some rest to recover. Might not have been the best idea I've had yet.

I had a nap earlier and afterwards felt wonderful, but starting to feel a bit off again now. Luckily I can skip tomorrow's classes without any severe consequences, so if I still don't feel up to it I can stay in bed.

Yeah I see, well hope you recover soon man.. Flu fscking sucks.

Lucky (and unlucky) for me mine started over the weekend, but I don't really have anything important to attend to this week so think I'll just miss it all and stay in bed until I'm 100% once again.

Last night got no sleep, was sweating one minute, then chills the next.. Plus thunder and constant coughing/runny nose.

Ah, sounds like you've got it a lot worse than me. Luckily I started on cough medicine and immune boosters as soon as I started showing symptoms, so I think that helped a lot. Mine should clear up on Wednesday at the latest, I think. Hope you're not stuck in bed for too much longer dude. Flu really sucks. Not even in the mood to do anything.
