This day just got awesome. Singapore police are unbelievably efficient. You cannot enter this country without providing a set of fingerprints. So when I reported my stuff stolen, they arrived within an hour and took fingerprints. Left, and now a day later, they've already arrested the culprits and just returned my phone to me. They can't return the cash just yet, but promised if they can get it, they will.
Oh my gawd. This is the way law enforcement should work...
And I got a cut-thoat barber shave (yes, I know - not deep enough). This day is starting to become legen....wait for it...wait for it...
I dunno who the culprits are. Cops wouldn't say. They just had me sign a piece of paper saying they'd returned my phone to me and confirming my statement from yesterday. And then left. Took about 3 minutes. Here's the kicker - I was out at the time, so they parked outside and waited for me to return, knowing that I am a tourist and I could leave at any time, so they made sure they caught up with me in person.

Pizzas cost the equivalent of about R300 each here. Seriously. Somehow the Singaporeans have been convinced that pizza is a luxury food. Massive gap in the market here - only issue is perception...
Does that mean you will say in Sing....?
