Still alive really? I got the information from the representative in Somerset Mall, no idea which one but perhaps it would be good to notify them. They are apparently on the verge of taking down all their promotional material related to it as well.
I will definitely see what you have to offer in that range in September as well.

And if you could clarify further, my wife was interested particularly in the R100 RBMHD deal that I mentioned above but was told that she wouldn't be able to upgrade her contract, which is now due for an upgrade on a normal CellC Controlchat deal, to RBM without cancelling her current line and opening a new one totally. Is that accurate?

How reliable is Cell C's Redbull Mobile service? The phones are a bit old, yes, eg. LG Optimus P970, but the contracts are good value for money (especially now in light of Mr. Gordhans tax speech). Opinions, experiences, please. Thanks.

only problem is you pay 1,50 rather than 99c and its per minute billing, which adds up quickly.

Been with them since April 2011 and prior to that directly with cellc. No complaints or service issues and would like to continue with them due to the good valued contracts(currently on RBM200). Only problem is the phone range and availability as I already qualified for an upgrade beginning of January at which point I was told that there are no phones available for upgrades. They did however assure me that new phones and options will be available from February. The only mobiles on the contract are the Nexus I9250 and Galaxy S2, but apparently no stock on S2 at present. There's been several rumours that Redbull mobile are being discontinued, but after a complaint on Hellopeter, I was reassured that it is not the case and that an all new range and options will be made available by end February. I'm still waiting though. Perhaps there's a Redbull mobile rep on the forum who can shed some more light on the subject.

That's true, but being on RBM200(200 anytime minutes, 100 sms/mms and 500mb) it still is good value.

I have the RBM 3GB per month data contract since Dec 2011 and until recently, haven't had many problems with it.

    Some points to note:
    1. Since Red Bull is Cell C, when Cell C has network issues so will Red Bull customers.
    2. Although Red Bull is sold in Cell C stores and uses the Cell C network, it is treated as a separate network so making changes can be problematic.
I found this out when wanting to upgrade the 3GB to have more data.
