Vodacom Gotcha and Vodafone Sat nav

Just wondering, based on the warning from Vodacom Beware non-RIM BlackBerry apps, does the Vodacom/ Highveld Gotcha app and the Vodafone Sat nav app use BIS by default?

If not can they be configured to use BIS?

I'm not sure on the Gotcha app

but the SatNav ( http://wap.telmap.com/vodacom ) to my knowledge and use of it, does use BIS/BES

on a side note since Feb 2012 till end of July I've used 40mb up and down on the internet APN on my Blackberry :\ might be whatsapp images or video i dunno

vodacom has said in the past that whatsapp will be billed so it's probably that.

Thanks SphereZA - it will be interesting to see what happens when the gotcha competition starts next week.

I hope my vodacom bill doesn't say Gotcha! after using their app!
