Awesome! Was at the dentist earlier today, and he took X-rays. Don't have any top wisdom teeth, and the bottom ones came out perfectly. Chances of them having to be removed sometime in the future are very slim.

Pity, I have a small hole in one of them that I'm having stopped on Wednesday. Already stressing for that injection. Can handle any injection but one in my mouth.

That's the thing the doc explained to me ... 2 of my wisdoms weren't causing issues ... but they're very hard to clean all the way at the back and often rot ...

I'm not scared of much ... but I'm *** scared of a root canal!
Will be a CA by year end ... Anyone with any business opportunities

I am petrified of having my wisdom teeth out. I've had 6 general anesthetics for other surgeries so I'm no newcomer to pain and recovery, but something about having a Maxillo fisting my bloody mouth scares the bejezuz out of me. I got an abscess when my one wisdom got infected once and was too scared to go to the dentist so I sterilised my mouth and drained it myself with a 23G hypodermic needle and syringe. Luckily it worked fine. I guess I might as well make use of my medical aid some time and see the dentist.
Dude thats retarded. How the hell is that better than going to a dentist who gives you some local to numb the area with a 30G needle (which is smaller btw ).

Haha trust me I know it wasn't ideal. But it worked, and the abscess and pain was gone. Got some antibiotics and luckily it's been fine for the last 6 months but I'm delaing the inevitable. Yep I tried with a 29G insulin syringe first but it was too small to drain the pus. The dentist is my only stupid irrational fear so I can live with it for now.

For me there wasn't really any pain, just swelling and irritation. Then again they only had one to cut out the rest they pulled out.
So only the one they had to cut out was swelling and irritating.Overall for me it was not that bad.

Pretty much the worst experience of my life... A week without real food and unbearable pain, however I no longer have to deal with infections caused by them. But as previously stated its different for everyone.

Wow. I think I've found the world's very best dentist. Literally didn't feel either of the injections. He told me the bottom one will likely prick a bit, but if I didn't see him take the injection out of my mouth I wouldn't have known he'd even injected me yet.

Compared to my last dentist who almost made me jump through the roof with her injection, this is a nice change.
