There's no such thing as the SAPD.

I must admit, the SAPD instead of SAPS did get me... and the tracker nonsense.

What is the South African Police Service called in Afrikaans?

I suppose you could call it the SAPD in Afrikaans, but that notice sure as hell is not.

I think officially the Afrikaans version is no longer used. And they are now a police force not service with the whole militarization business.

Is the traffic department known as the "verkeersdienste"? Does that not translate to "wrong services"?

The purpose of this email and others like it is to point out people in your vicinity that still need some guidance *cough* in life. I love to respond to emails I get like that, no matter who sent it to me, with an almost-rude-ish email telling them what I think of them and thanking them for spreading lies... with the relevant www.lmgtfy.com link

    ha... ah ha.... ahhahahahahhaha.

Keyring with tracking in it! lulz. You'd need a battery, transmitter (GSM likely), GPS receiver (you might as well give out free smart phones). Not exactly a cheap tactic, and would not fit in a keyring. Never mind having to receive the data (prolly over TCP/IP sockets), process it, get it to your server / laptop and plot it on a map or calculate a bearing and distance.

Nice tech savy criminals... they'd make more money starting their own business than B&E.
