    Default laptop + 2gb data + HUAWEI E303@269/month = good deal???

    Dell N5050 Laptop

    R269.00 PM X24
    SUBSCRIPTION
    R269.00TOTAL MONTHLY COST

I dont like MTN but any comments why this isnt a good deal. As cellc 2gb is R120/m so the laptop is about R150/month = R3600. As the laptop is about R4300.
    Thanks a lot.

I am not a fan of Celeron Processors myself although you might be happy with it.

    Hi kbilly,
Like ITCynic I am not a huge fan of Celeron but you have alos not told us what you are going to be using it for?
I would prefer to see 4GB of memory but then I don't like closing down my applictaions just because I am not using them.
It may in the longer term pay you to get a laptop and then look at the data contract no matter which data provider you want to use. Very often these deals look good initially but a little more homework on your part may get you a better deal.

    Anywho Good luck

I see its a 1.6Ghz CPU - great low powered option when you just need to surf the net and type a letter. I got my daughter a basic celeron HP last year and its fine for her but she does not play games - I even used it for some development work for 3 months.

I guess it all depends what you want to use it for. Also remember that since this laptop has Windows Starter on it, you cannot upgrade the RAM.
