When are you a racist?

You're not horrible, you are wrong. Horrible one can perhaps not do anything about? But being wrong your entire life? That has got to be the saddest waste of a life. Far worse though is when you perpetuate your biases to your progeny. And the cycle continues.

As the say, nobody's perfect.

Yesterday on the train :

I was in the carriage standing next to two white men, at one of the stops a big group of black and coloured people got onto the train. The one white guy looked at the other and asked "Are you sure this is 1st class carriage?"

Now i'm certain this can be construed in different ways.

1. As a result of observation in the past 3rd class was associated with mainly colored and black passengers
2. He's a racist

But anyway, he did open the door for a coloured woman when she wanted to go out. Not sure if to help her or urgently wanted less people of colour on the train
