best is to burn it on the windscreen instead of using the water based method, which is risky as the water will damage electrical devices in the dash area.

PG Glass told me it is when I put smash & grab on the rest of my windows.

    found this: http://www.klingshield.co.za/window_...egulations_law

seems that you can apply up to 30% tinting on your front windscreen

How much would it cost for and avarage sized windscreen?
If you don't understand the argument well enough that you could switch sides and represent the other team, stop arguing.

Anyone get the front windscreen done recently with the deemed legal 30% tint and know where will do it?

Illegal, yes. It is already tinted as well as laminated during manufacture. Chances that a smash&grabber will break your windscreen at a robot is so slim, aside from being idiotic, as it is waaaay tougher than any of the side windows.
