Thread: Call costs after porting

  1. #1

    Question Call costs after porting

If I have a vodacom number and want to port to cellc, my wife normally would pay a lower price when she calls. Now after I port will she pay the higher price or will I pay the difference?

It seems obvious to me that she will pay the higher price but I would just like some confirmation from someone who really knows for sure.

    Thanks

She will pay the higher rate as it is no longer Vodacom to Vodacom...but Vodacom to Cell C

This is just a example...Talk 120 once your included minutes are depleted:

    Vodacom to Vodacom R 1.65
    Vodacom to other R 1.99

This is why you hear that beep beep sound when dialing a number that has been ported. To warn you that the number was ported and no longer with its original network and the rates you thought you would be paying no longer applies.
Now why you loer en kyk gelyk?
Is ek miskien van goud gemake?
