One month additional ADSL plan.

Hey everyone, thanks for the help, I'm a bit ignorant about this so bare with me.
My parents currently have the telkom adsl 384 10gb per month with closer plan 2. I've been thinking of a cheap way to get more bandwidth when I visit them for about a month because 10gb is a bit too low. Is it possible to for instance buy capped adsl cap from afrihost and use it with telkom or something along that line? I don't want to top up with telkom because it's ridiculously expensive.

Just get them to upgrade to uncapped.

I've tried that, seeing as they barely use 3gb of their 10 they won't budge, any other ideas?

You can use any ADSL account on any line, so just buy an Afrihost account and change the settings on the router.

Afrihost is a good option, you can also try Axxess, buy data from them just like you would for pre-paid airtime. http://www.axxess.co.za. These vouchers are available for cash at a number of retail stores.

Yes, I'm not sure how Afrihost handle uncapped accounts - what the cancellation periods etc are but in theory you could.
