I just found a diary that we were each forced to keep in primary school to record our daily activities.



This is terrible. Anne Frank had a livelier childhood.

08/06/1992: I had a hot bath, then went to bed.

09/06/1992: I was very lucky, my mother gave me R2.00

14/06/1992: I found my old green yo-yo in a box.

16/06/1992 : I played with my yo-yo.



I won't share too much right now.

I didn't have a diary, I did make ridiculous recordings of myself on a tape recorder however.

I almost think that I attempted keeping one when I was younger - but either never happened or I don't recall...

At that age, the way to school is probably the most exciting time of day

What I don't understand is why teachers forced us to keep personal diaries for them to read

Mine only has one entry per day. I either only chose my highlight of the day or put in minimum effort so as not to fail the grade.
