We also feel it here. Initial indications are that it is MTN Business DC network related. Will give more feedback when we get it.
Really bad at the moment.
Looks like the problem was finally resolved.
Previous notice: "Some customers hosted in Johannesburg Data Centre 2 are experiencing packet loss on the following router when connecting to their servers..." MTN Business was tasked with resolving the problem.

Yeah - looks like MTN was having issues most of the day. Packet loss from 9:00 to 11:30, followed by latency and jitter until 13:00, followed by more packet loss until 15:10.Originally Posted by rpm
Probably those thin packets that you get at the Asian Malls... they should use Pick and Pay packets. The plastic is much thicker.
