They have been saying this for about 3 months already. As for the APN as i understand it you need to be provisioned by vodacom to use the Iphone.vodacom.co.za apn. then the apn will work. i bought a ipad sim from vodacom but can only use Internet apn.
Why do we not get feedback from the vodacom rep????

Ah, so the new iPad does support tethering... Just Vodacom being a bunch of lazy sods about it
