Default DSTV - Connecting more than 2 decoders

    Hi All.
I have just learnt that, with Xtraview, you cannot connect more that 2 decoders separately, i.e. i cannot watch different channels on say 3 TV's on a single subscription. How bloody silly is that.

    My setup:
I have a TV and HD PVR in lounge, heartbeating to TV and HD PVR in bedroom.
I have another TV and cheap decoder (DSD 1110?) in gym(next to lounge) - but i have been advised that i cannot heartbeat this. So I ran an AV cable from lounge, though it displays the same channel.

So any ideas what my options are?

Would the SD PVR + HD PVR not work?
SD PVR has 2 tuners + 1 tuner HD PVR.
Thus giving you 3 viewing environments.

I lose HD is a disadvantage though.

The DSD1110 wont have HD either.

Your best bet is to have an AV cable going from both those decoders to to the gym so you can watch from either of those decoders.

You will only have 2 viewing environments but it will all be HD.

    You may be right.
HD in the gym is not an issue though.

My SD PVR has so far outlasted my HD PVR ... both which I had since their launch days .... The HD PVR was replaced last year.

Yeah, i have issue with the HD PVR, usually after an update. My one, when watching recorded TV, just reboots itself.
