Default Billionaire Gina Rinehart attacks 'jealous' poor

I'm definitely not one of those lefties who just hates the rich for no apparent reason but it does seem a tad ironic that she has never really had to do much work in her life as she inherited her fortune rather than earn it herself.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...lous-poor.html

Gina Rinehart, a mining magnate worth an estimated £19 billion, has advised those jealous of the wealthy to "spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working" in order to be successful.

Miss Rinehart, 56, also rounded on Australia's "class warfare", insisting it was billionaires such as herself who were doing more than anyone to help the poor.

She warns that Australia risks following European economies ruined by "socialist" policies, high taxes, and excessive regulation.
Miss Reinhart stated there was "no monopoly" on becoming a millionaire.

In May Miss Rinehart was declared the richest woman in the world, after building upon an estimated £13 billion mining empire inherited from her late father, Lang Hancock, in 1992.

The comments come from Miss Rinehart's regular column in Australian Resources and Investment magazine and have provoked widespread criticism.

Wayne Swan, Australia's deputy prime minister, said: "These sorts of comments are an insult to the millions of Australian workers who go to work and slog it out to feed the kids and pay the bills."

Ged Kearney, the Australian Council of Trade Unions president, said her views were "stuck in the nineteenth century".

Mr Kearney went on to say: "Gina Rinehart's comments are the product of someone who has never had to earn a living and an insult to millions of working Australians who didn't have the head start of inheriting a fortune from their father and of being able to bully politicians by virtue of their inherited wealth."
Mr Swan is an outspoken critic of Australia's mining tycoons, and he added that Miss Rinehart clearly regarded Australians as "lazy workers who drink and socialise too much".

Yeah! Why don't the poor go inherit their own damn wealth? /sarcasm
That which comes into existence will eventually break apart and pass away

It is easier to sit all day long on your behind and ask for handouts than to do actual work.
Christ-mass is NOT for Christians. Jeremiah 10.
Is the 10 Commandments for Christians?

Saturday is the Seventh day, Sunday is the first day.

You really could learn something, you know. This lady=bad and shouldn't say stuff like "people should work more". Pretty much all of us on the forums = average Joes who do work our asses off for what we have. It's hard to overcome the brainwashing I know, but eventually you might learn to think for yourself. Yes, I'm an optimist, I know.

You make no sense. At all. All I got from that was, "Im an average joe and you are brainwashed". Which makes no sense in the context of what I said

Which fall into the category of people that didn't work when they had the opportunity and didn't plan for the future and those who's parents did not work or plan for the future....

I have never heard of this woman. Does she do anything for the poor? Maybe she is heavily involved with philantropic / charitable work and through her forays into that, she came to the conclusion that a lot of the poor people do not work hard enough.

Or maybe she is just a major ass!

Strange... all those old people got through their entire lives without paying tax and their share towards the government. Amazing stuff that. Its not like they spent decades contributing to the government and paying taxes.
