Thread: Mother of ****ing hangovers.

  1. #1

    Default Mother of ****ing hangovers.

    I'm too old for this...

Went to bed at 4:43, woke up at 6:41. Got a cramp in my leg as I woke up that still hurts.

Feel like an old man and I think I might still be a little under the effects of alcohol from last night.

9.5 hour shift here we go?

Jeezus. Feel like I'm going to die.

Anyways, just sharing this with you guys.

Off topic: Has anyone started doing anything about their general health since reading the skinnyfat thread? The entire time last night I was drinking I just kept thinking about that and fearing...

Maybe if you stop blowing your money on booze you'd stop whining about how poor you are?

The only advise I can give you - drink lots of water and chase it with a 6 pack of these..

Stick to whiskey on the rocks and never have a hangover again. The ice provides a constant intake of water which keeps the pending hangover at bay.

Alternatively, drink lots of water between your other drinks. Will help reduce the mornings hangover.

I only had 2 brandies and coke last night.

Maybe it was because the Proteas were playing so badly.

But I rather think it's because Coca-Cola carbonation process stinks. After about an hour or two after opening a 1.5l the fizz is completely gone. And I do screw on the cap tightly.

Don't underestimate the drinking of extra water in-between, a whiskey binge will doesn't give you a hangover but you will wake up with a dry mouth feeling like you've been licking the sand dunes in the Sahara.

Never mix your drinks, stick to beer, whiskey, wine etc.... Shots between drinks is what gives you the worst hangovers.

    Not me dude.
Mate of mine comes around some Fridays, and we will sit at my bar klapping Shivas or J&B Black. Generally we will do between 1 and 1.5 bottles.
I wake up Sat AM like it never happened.

Maybe it's age related Been a few years now since I had a hangover.

When we braai, I start with 3 or 4 Peronis, then change to whisky and stick to it. 100% the next morning.
