    Default How to network unlock a Vodacom handset?

    I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace on Vodacom as it was the only network the store I bought it from had it on. Now I want to unlock it and be able to use any network provider on it. PLEASE HELP

    It's illegal to lock any phone to a network in South Africa. Period.

    Maybe he's referring to debranding the phone? @OP Does it not let you use another network sim card at all?

    I want to use Cell C, when I insert the sim card it says: Enter network code

    Vodacom no longer lock phones...and have not done so for many many years.
    Now why you loer en kyk gelyk?

    As stated above, South African networks do not lock their branded phones.
