Thread: Panel Beating or New Parts

Default Panel Beating or New Parts

    Hi,

I have a small dent and some scratches on my bumper (front) and a small tear in the plastic grille. Basically I know the bumper can be repaired and the grille either repaired or replaced.

But would you think it is more cost effective to repair at a panel beater than to buy new parts and just get them painted and fitted?

What could I expect to pay for the above repairs.

Also, I have the scratchsure policy and was hoping to use that and pay only R350 excess.

    Your thoughts?

    Thx

    what car?

Might be cheaper if perhaps getting one at scrapyard.

Most of those scrath policies will only cover a certain size area and the spray shops used are cr@p.
