Thread: MTN stole my money!

  1. #1

    Default MTN stole my money!

The Willowbridge MTN store yesterday sold me a topup 2GB data bundle instead of the contract bold on (I am on a contract) and now are making all kind of excuses for not refunding me.

Janice processed my credit card without checking if I am on contract and now I have to listen to all kind of silly stories.

I am back today sitting in store and have now phoned the police to get a case number. Gatvol for crap service and being bullied!

Stop treating customers like idiots and provide decent service! If your employees cockup, man up and fix it. This is how you impress and retain customers...

Let's see if the police rock up. If not, I'll have to get a case number at my local station...

What do you expect the police to do when you and/or MTN fed-up? You are upset and confused - both at the same time WTF Go read what the law does say before abusing tax money! Can you prove the intention (if any) of theft on MTN's part? If not go see a layer. Once I have been called to someone's home to open a case because the electricity went off and the computer crashed and apparently damaged the hardrive worth of 10000 rand of business info. I went to the house and toled the caller, if he bothers me a single more time I will arrest him for interfering with my work and/or making prank calls on the emergency line. You should have checked his face. Needles to say, he never bothered again.

Ha ha. Nice one. Police tend to get a bad rep in this country, but I've got to say the ones I've dealt with have been professional and helpful.

I'm tempted to fire off Hot Fuzz questions at you. Have you ever fired on someone while in high speed pursuit? Have you even shot at someone with an AK47? Have you ever screamed your lungs out while shooting at the sky? Etc etc.

UPDATE: After 2 visits to the store and a phone call to the Maverick (not the strip club!) head office, I was refunded on Tuesday.
The head office offered grat service and actually gave me updates and feedback on the progress.

It seems that many of the MTN stores are actually NOT owned by MTN, but by franchisees...

Guess you just to get to speak to the right people...

I've stabbed people and killed many at long range using a sniper rifle ... even blown up a couple of tanks... o, yes... I am also a decent chopper pilot.

    ...in Battlefield that is!
