Interesting.
Just one thing...does the SIII not have a quad core processor?![]()
Some models do, some don't. It's a bit confusing. But I'm pretty sure the ones here do.
Only thing you can really go on though with the speed of these phones is going to be benchmarks. Apple claimed 2xcpu and gpu performance increase over 4S which would be astonishing if true. Probably would be more like a bit of this and a bit of that from the correct angle... But still it should be a very powerful processor. I don't think they skimped on high end parts in any way to make the phone.

Seems Mybroadband is like Engadget, iphone gets released and endless articles posted that could have been one, where as an android device gets launched, one article only.

Isn't it 800/2600?
LTE is a bit of an enigma.

Samsung Galaxy S III, Without Quad-Core CPU, Slated for 5 U.S. Carriers
http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/...-u-s-carriers/Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy S III, is heading to five carriers in the U.S. — AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular. But when it gets here, the most anticipated Android phone of 2012 won’t include a quad-core processor like the model being sold in European markets.
Samsung’s New Galaxy S III Combines LTE And Quad-Core Processor
http://techcrunch.com/2012/07/05/sam...ore-processor/The new version of Samsung’s LTE-friendly Galaxy S III — which is expected to land in Korea on July 9 — sports both a quad-core Exynos processor and support for LTE service from carriers SK Telecom, LG U+, and KT. To round out the package, Samsung has also thrown in 2GB of RAM to match the “future-proof” U.S. model.
Old news perhaps, maybe worth a mention...
