Since they terminated it I have terminated them off my import site list for SA and I am sure lots of people will also since they used it mostly for the Amazon imports since their local stock is sometimes lacking

They will lose way more than 10% of the revenue since I can think of lots of stuff I use which haven't been locally stocked with them which makes other online services look better.

I wonder why Amazon felt that they were not abiding by the Terms and Conditions?

I don't use them since they moved to their crappy new site and hiked their prices up.

Well there goes one of the main reasons I used take2. Wouldn't have had my firefly blurays if it wasn't for that.

They need to find a substitute ASAP.

    Agree.

About 80% of what I spent at Takealot in the last two years where imports.

Sad news. A lot of the books and cd's I bought were via their import service. I feel like someone came along in the middle of the night & broke the bridge down . Please fix the bridge takealot, thx.

Ditto, new site is a huge mess to find anything compared to old site and the prices went up quite a bit, cheaper to buy from the other "used to be more expensive" websites.

Should be able to just order directly from amazon. They have different shipping rates depending on the product and the speed you require. Have offered lots of books and some games from them. The amazon.com address seems to have less issues when wanting something shipped to SA, last time the amazon.co.uk had more restrictions.

As to the main part of the thread. Hardly care, hardly ever order from takealot. Its their lose, most will probably just switch to ordering direct from amazom.
