Default SSD & Mouse - Hong Kong

My dad is going to be in Hong Kong this Sunday so was thinking of asking him to bring myself back a SSD & Maybe a new mouse.

Any one know if SSD's are any cheaper there? I don't know anything about SSD's but it seems that OCZ AGILITY 4 or the OCZ VERTEX 4 are the ones to go for.

Also has any one used the Microsoft touch mouse? Current mouse is packing up and with windows 8 just around the corner this could be perfect.

I usually buy components in Hong Kong from this supplier in the Mongkok Computer Centre (just choose SSD from the menu below Promotion to see the current prices). I don't think that you will be able to get cheaper prices without spending a lot of time. Just browse through the other menus above Promotion to get an idea of hard drive pricing etc.

He will have to go to a supplier, found most prices in Hong Kong (few shops I visited anyway) were very similar to SA.

Directions to Mongkok Computer Centre ...
♦ Mong Kok Computer Centre is the place to go to for everything that is computer related. This three-storey mall has dozens of computer shops, selling various kinds of products including laptops, software, hardware and computer accessories. all at very competitive prices. The center is located on 8 Nelson Street, just around the corner from Ladies' Market and a very short walk from exit E-2 of MTR- Mong Kok, and is open daily between 11 am and 11 pm.

Once there you will probably need to ask somebody to show you the shop (first floor) ...

    Thanks!
I see that they have the OCZ AGILITY 4 for HK$ 1498/R1600, so its about R600 cheaper then here.

Have actually been to Hong Kong about 3 years ago, but wasn't looking to buy PC components, I just bought an Ipod and camera.

I have always enjoyed my HK shopping trips! You could even try calling them during office hours using Voip if you can't find something on their website.

Got the OCZ Vertex 4, 256GB for R1700!
Now to decide weather or not to just wait for windows 8 so I don't have to Install it now and then in a months time install the official version.

Not really a decision though, will put win 8 trial on
