Too little too late.

It's never too late, and it's definitely not little. Those specs look pretty damn good, and if you think otherwise, you're crazy:
That battery also looks impressive, and the fact that they managed to cram this all into a 8.85mm thick device, that is only a bit longer, and slightly bigger than the SGS2, and smaller than the SGS3, is almost miraculous. Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, micro-HDMI, micro-SD, NFC. It sounds almost too good to be true. While it's not the thinnest smartphone due to launch on the market, the BlackBerry 10 Aristo is still an impressive 8.85mm thick. NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, microHDMI out, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and microUSB are other notable features.
As for the device's camera, a 2MP front-facing camera capable of shooting 720p video is listed, with an 8MP 1080p-capable camera situated at the back. The leaked slide also suggests that the Aristo will come equipped with a 2,800mAh battery, as well as 16GB of internal storage.

While I'm a die hard fandroid and BB-hater, we need competition from RIM and Nokia to keep the rest of the market fresh, and innovating. The last thing we need as a repeat of the lack-lustre 2 horse race of Nokia S60 vs WM5/6 from 5 years ago.

Thank you, Saajid!!!
I just don't get this notion that people have of RIM being too 'late' or bringing something 'little' to the table.
BB10 is a fantastic OS, reminds me of the equally impressive Meego, and it will more than stand up to Android, Windows phone and iOS.
I would rather wait and see what happens when the phones are on the market and see how the market (sales) react before passing judgement.
Thus far, it seems carriers (those that have been shown the devices by RIM) are impressed and interested so let's see what happens.
It is not what you do or even how you do it but in what state of mind you doi it:
Dups! 2009
Specs seem impressive, the problem is not with the carriers seeming interested and impressed, but by the tons of apps the Android and iPhone users have become used to. This could be the downfall of MS Win 8 on phones too, although it seems there are enough eager developers to get that number up quickly. Sadly the same could not be said about BB.
To be honest i dont know why you need a application store of a mil applications. How much does the average person use on his phone? 10, 20, 50, 500, 2000, 10000 or 50 000.
For me is the quality not quantity.
Anyhow i still use my 9360 and it does what other phones do only cheaper and at the moment its important.
The specs are extremely impressive but the BB name is tarnished. Their current crop of phones are pathetic and of poor quality. A lot of consumers have lost faith in the brand and I'm not sure they will want to go back with such great alternatives out there. Add in the fact that it is an entirely new OS to learn. One that is unproven, with minimal apps and lacking an ecosystem. I just don't see much way out.
You have a whole range of top notch Androids, the 4S and 5 are two extremely attractive phones with ecosystems people are reluctant to leave, WP8 is looking awesome and it seems developers are excited about it as a platform. BB10 just doesn't have the range to compete. They are effectively trying to pull an Apple (small range of self made phones with a unique OS etc) and I just don't see them being able to pull it off.

Impressive specs for a blackberry, but I still don't think it will be enough
Looks like great hardware, but unfortunately that's not what makes a successful device.
BB App World is sorely lacking in comparison to its rivals and RIM will have to entice developers to develop quality apps for the platform.
