Nice to see where all the Vodacom customer's OOB money goes to.
If vodacom's track record is anything to go by, it will be years before the 4g coverage matches the existing 3G coverage, even considering that 75%+/- of the LTE infrastructure is already in place.

I'm glad that the technology is becoming commercial now, but the speed of the service and the cost of data are such a disproportionate combination that it is hardly useful.
Is Vodacom willing to advertise what streaming that 1080p video will cost the consumer?

So was the whole discussion about Vodacon possibly calling it 4G just a ploy to stir Cell-C's feathers? But hey who knows maybe they had to run a last-minute reprint on everything that said 4G and label it LTE after realising they'd run into trouble.
