Remember the day Google was down for several hours. Remember the day the international cables broke. Remember the last time some idiot put a backhoe through your local Telkom cable. Remember the day some poephol stole a bazillion credit card numbers. And whatever became of my data on Megaupload.

I've noticed that the only people that use the term the 'Cloud' is usually the Client or Marketing.
And anyone from DR or Security Audit get this glazed look when they hear the term.
Yup. Perfectly OK.
Entrusting your data to people you've never met, stored in a place you've never been to nor ever could, protected by passwords you've given to others ... should be fine.
Just make sure you have a local backup.
Oh, and another thing: clouds are misty, wet and cold.
