Index tracking/ETF RAs?

Are there any other index tracking RAs out there?

The only one I have found was 10x:
http://www.10x.co.za/why-10x/investment/investment-style/

They track what basically is the Top60 of the JSE and none of the component companies can have more than 6% weighing. So 75% would be into that in the RA, and the rest into bonds and cash (as per Regulation 28).

As far as i understand with alan grey you can choose the underlying fund(Many options available), and the funds track an index.. So i would consider this the same?

They do unit trusts, which are actively managed (those normally TRY to beat an index of some kind). I have not seen a pure index tracker like a Top 40 or similar.

Coronation has a Top 20 unit trust for exampale, but its not a index tracker, a fund manager chooses the 20 companies out of the top 50 that he thinks will perform best.

I wish someone would start one, will have the life industry shaking at their knees

How do they keep it Regulation 28 compliant?
Is say up to 75% in an equity index tracker, and the rest in bonds/money market/property etf's?

My understanding is that portfolio is only available on their new Evolve investment range. Read up on it first. Something like, you don't pay fees if they don't achieve 15%pa but for everything in excess of this they take 60%. Specific lump sum minimums apply too.

Thanks. Yuck!

Anyone invested in this 10x? Im in the process of looking at an RA.

If anyone does get a quote please could I ask that you share it with me? I would love to have a better look at their costs.
