Default Injury woes force White to take it easy

Johannesburg - Springbok coach Jake White is running out of players and the injury epidemic in the Bok camp was epitomised on Wednesday when White had to cancel their afternoon training session because of niggling injuries to his players.

Jake white, its a shame really.. Poor oak.

The coaches get all the blame when it comes to bad rugby.

I do feel coaches do carry blame, but after-all its the players that play the game at the end, and a couple of factors that play a big role in winning/losing that game -

    Factors :
If your apponent's form and winning stre-eek is good (your already rattled)

Howmany injury's your team has vs your apponent (knees buckling etc.etc)

Also how dedicated are the players on the field to win the game (are some just sitting around counting the flags in the stands, or are they giving bone-crunching/eye-popping tackles)

Weather of the day*wind speed, direction, hot or cold, altitude* (Not always a big one, but can sway the ball little to left/right when kicking for the polls)

Experience of the players (Do they play well as a team, or do they go all One-man-army on the rest of the players?)

There are propably a couple of factors more... like Pride, Paycheck, Willingness to get injured*or roll on ground like a woosy*.etc.etc

I see this time Whitey will use injuries rather than transformation as his excusse.

Weather is not a damn factor, neither is the pitch or temperature, both teams have to play on the same pitch, in the same wind and in the same temperature.

Injuries happen, its part of the game, happens to our team and to other teams, look at Australia last year, and look now that they have their players back. Theres a big difference. There is no excuse for a poor performance, but in that 49-0 defeat i saw players walking back to the defensive line and moping about, that is inexcusable. That is not the coaches fault, but the players. Their salaries should all be performance based.

The only time he used transformation as an excuse, was for not picking luke watson, he never once said transformation was a reason for playing badly or losing, so rather keep to the news and current affairs and off topic section than trying to bring your political views in here.
Don't follow me, I'm lost too...

    Bokke for president
