Rica Cellc Sim - bought at checkers.

Ok bought this cellc sim from checkers, but now how do I go about Rica it?
 
The teller is supposed to Rica it. You'd have to go back to Checkers.

I had the same problem bought at SIM at CNA and then took it to CellC shop to RICA but they refused to do so saying I had to RICA where I bought it. Something to do with the serial numbers also being tracked to where it was sold not just who RICAd it which makes sense.
 
That is exactly what I feared.....

Cant I just send cellc all my details directly?

Well think about it. It cost you 99 cents. You can go to any other retail store or CellC shop and buy a new prepaid sim and get it RICAd and just throw away the old 99c sim.

You can go to any store that does rica to rica that number. I bought a simcard at game which they never rica'd and passed jet and they rica it for me no questions asked.

So you can rica it anywhere.
 
I purchased a CELL C starter pack today had no problem at all. Just asked the cashier at CNA that I want to "RICA" quickly she did it with her POS but she never put my physical address, postal address was quiet surprised that it went successful.

I think some merchants are too afraid to RICA the simcard cause the sales person who is registering the simcard can get into trouble if it's a stolen bunch etc cause it's under their profile.
