Thread: Mbeki's health a concern?

    Default Mbeki's health a concern?

    http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_i...5157681C867352

The state of Thabo Mbeki's health has been brought into question after his schedule was cancelled for health reasons.

Official reports said the president had flu, but the Beeld newspaper on Friday reported that he has seen heart specialists in Cape Town and Pretoria.
    concerning to me though:
Staff at the hospital were sworn to secrecy and Beeld photographers, tipped off about the visit, had their memory cards and photos wiped out by Mbeki's bodyguards.

They said on the radio this morning that some photographers were manhandled outside the hospital by el Presidente's bodyguards. They took their cameras away, deleted the memory and confiscated the cards with the images on them. All they were doing was taking snaps at the entrance!
