On par with my Samsung Galaxy S2, hell, even the same 2000 mAh battery!

    Yup, I feel your pain.

Nokia has taken up all the X20 slots, now it's X25.

And still the same ol' Windows Phone 8 from last year.

    Don't you mean the S3?

But yeah I get what you saying but for me its more than about specs. It's about what does this phone offer more than say any other windows phone out there. Short answer nothing. If you already own a top range Windows Phone there is not a single stat that screams at you that your phone is outdated. Not from the design or the OS. In fact this is the part where I do think from an OEM's perspective that Windows Phone might be a very bad idea.

For consumers the story is different I guess, as you do not get pushed like other devices to always stay up to date.

Only problem for me is that it also lacks the customization that I become use to. From swapping my keyboards to swype enabled ones(Touchpal) to adding gestures for extra actions.(Swipepad hyper launcher) Yes its small things but if you add em all up they make my phone, mine.

    Not quite kingrob.

I think the Lumia 120 running WP7.8 (freshly released, just two months ago) would suit your taste.

No offence, but you are really fighting hard for Nokia and WP on these here forums... Do you own shares or work for them?

The main difference i can see off the bat is that is approximately 25% lighter than the 920
    - ie nearly 50 grams lighter
