Same here. Prior to a holiday or long weekend we'd all assemble in the hall and watch one of their movies.
    Good times

Brings back memories! I vaguely remember the movies, I must have been about 6-8 at the time.

You could be right, I think it might have been school holidays or something but we talking many moons ago.

Enjoyed the one where Bud had a yacht, got stranded on an island or something.

Who finds a friend finds a treasure? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I-jjwQyxYQ

That one scene where the royal navy approaches them and the guy shouts "God save the queen" and one of them chirps "Why is she sick?" had me in stitches for a while. Edit: Think that might have been from a different movie though.

I remember them when growing up. "Banana Joe" is the one I remember for some reason.
Weren't they all redubbed in english though?

I've bookmarked my YouTube link of "Robot Jox" which I should still watch as well.

I actually own one of their DVDs. Picked it up for like R25 a couple of years back. We used to watch/rent them and all these older films on weekends when I was younger

What about the carry on series. Now that brings back memories.

I've got all their films (the one's that they appeared together) on DVD. I wasn't a huge fan of their solo films. The magic lay in the chemistry between the two on screen, when you watch them together.
