Hi all,

My SGS2 can't connect via WIFI to the Play Store. It only works via 3G now.

Also, pictures often don't upload via WIFI.

This doesn't just happen on my device, but also another friends SGS2, and SGS4. So I don't think the problem is the phone itself.

I have a TP-Link WR1043ND router setup with a few QOS rules, and a Netgear DGN1000 N150 connected via the WAN port setup using PPPOE.
I don't have any additional config, which is why I don't understand why it's not working.

I did try setting my phone's WIFI proxy to my desktop, and that worked. Desktop is connected via LAN btw. But I can't use that as a permanent solution...

What could it be? Please help.

Happened to me a few times too, it's a fairly common issue. To fix I either had to clear cache for the PlayStore app or start the phone with the SDcard removed and then put it back and restart again (don't ask me why this worked).

Why are you assuming it's your router and not your ISP or DNS issue?
