Default ANC members march to defend dignity of Zuma

The African National Congress (ANC) marched through the streets of Durban on Friday to defend the dignity of President Jacob Zuma.

The party says there are concerted efforts to embarrass the president and as a result, he is taking strain. It says the booing of Zuma at the Nelson Mandela memorial service and then at Bafana Bafana's game against Brazil this week, brought matters to a head.

ANC Ethekwini Region Chairperson Sibongiseni Dlomo says President Zuma is part of the collective and therefore people should never personalise any issue with him as an individual.

Dlomo was referring to several incidents in which the president was booed. The booing at the Mandela Memorial in December
last year, and more recently at the Bafana game against Brazil in Johannesburg on Wednesday, forced matters to come to a head.

“We as ANC are saying at eThekwini region, 'Hands-off President Jacob Zuma'. If there are any issues with our government, we must address them not throw insults to our president Msholozi. We dislike that greatly.”

Oh my word...these people seriously have time to waste.

We all know that JZ is one shady ass corrupt president. They can march for as long as they want, at the end of the day, JZ gets richer, and they get poorer...and probably service delivery gets crapier (I doubt crapier is a word )

    LMAO

    This is absolutely hilarious.
    I'm laughing myself silly here.
    Marching to defend someones dignity.

I was not very naughty as a child, not more than any other child anyhow.

I did pick some trouble in primary school for something I said to another kid.
I was then given a hiding by the head master and he told me something in his speech that stuck to me.

Once you have lost the respect of someone, it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to win back that respect.
Along with respect, you can add trust and several other words.

I would like to think dignity would also not be attacked, if there were respect for someone.

No stupid march will change peoples mind to suddenly start respecting Zuma, if they have lost it for whatever reason.

Joining a march obviously makes one eligible for free handouts, which apparently could net R1000 per person.
You only get one chance to piss off a client. After that they are an ex client ...

    Not that I ever noticed.
Just because no one saw it doesn't mean it happened.

The party says there are concerted efforts to embarrass the president
Believe me, there is no effort from our side. No effort required as he is doing pretty well all by himself.
