Talk about excessive force, they could have atleast shot the guy in the leg. American policemen can be cowboys at times. He just had a knife.
14 odd shots was excessive. Tho technically it doesn't matter if its 1 or 14 if you're dead. If he was threatening peoples lives with that knife then he got what was coming.

He deserved to be shot, no doubt about that, but the police officers could have atleast shot the guy in the legs. Excessively spraying his body full of bullets just shows poor training, its not like they didnt have time to assess the situation, there must have been 25 cops following him.
