Right, so it works like this now. First, ignore the call center. There's no official signs on how to book so just wait in line and listen to what the officials mumble.

Go to Randburg testing(the one across Mcdonalds on Hans Strydom to make a booking (Not the Civic centre, although you'll write the test at the Civic center).

You'll have to start queuing from about 02h00 in the morning because they only take 50 bookings a day and people start queuing that early.

Make sure no one pushes in in front of you, and they will try when the guy with the forms appear at 07h30. If you're not one of the first 50, better luck next time. The whole booking process takes about 8 hours so be prepared and easy on the drinks. Take your ID, money and photos and your own pen.

Oh and learners bookings every week day except Wednesdays, which is reserved for drivers test bookings.

You'll get a booking for the next week at the Civic centre(the one near Hendrik Verwoerd Drive).

    Good luck.

Hey, productivity & service delivery is not important in South Africa!

    Being the minister is!

Yeah, thats why you have to be there at about 2h00. The idea is to be in the first 20 group cause anything after that is simply a changing variable.
40 can become 65 in two minutes

well, I failed a good couple of times...I think that maybe they make people fail for any good reason, so that when the Gautrain becomes available, people would start using the Gautrain instead of their own cars?? that is just my hypothesis..and thats only one version of it!
