With DRM will I own the thing I purchase for life, or will I still have to buy it again if i loose it?
Huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu?
Me bets the latter.

Or any cd player - Apple left an analogue hole big enough to drive a truck through.No... you dont purchase it.. you buy the Rights to listen/watch the content. Its up to the content provider to manage how your music/movies are being used. Also, with the Apple model, you buy from iTunes for your iPod... its not playable on anything else except your ipod (or any Apple DRM system)
Thats the problem!... who controls what! it kills the 'Fairplay' clause in consumer rights.
