Wow less than a year and it was done. What did this cost you in the end?

We kept ALL of the receipts etc, was around R102k. Could have done it cheaper, but I do not have the time to spend my weekends sourcing parts

It gets me from A to B just like any other car. I can go two months on a full tank of petrol and it's cheap and easy to maintain.

Hoping to get either a Punto or 500 in two years.

Go for the 500 - I got my wife a 1.2 500C a couple of months ago and its an absolute blast. I get all giddy when weekends come around and I get to drive it, seeing as she's got the car with her during the week. It's MUCH more fun driving it than my Civic.

Thanks, I love the 500 more than the Punto and not much of a price difference between them. They look nice in red with the cream folding roof.
