MWeb even threw in a B-BEE card to try and trump its competitors in !CASA's mind - is this a sign of weakness or confidence on MWeb's part?
As much as I generally do not agree with MWeb's traditional overcharging business model, I would support MWeb getting Telkodemonopolies' WiMax licence - if Telkodemonopolies' under-the-table dealings ever come to light...
Sweet! Any mweb user got chosen on myadsl?
Give us some feedback soon
What equipment do you require to access a WiMax network?
I would want to get on this trial for the simple reason that the connections will be uncapped!!
they'll probably choose a few non-abusers ;P
I'm disappointed with the mentioned speeds.
I don't know why this is the case, but whenever there is a trial like this, I NEVER see any MyADSL users being selected for the trial. Telkom Wimax, Neotel and now MWEB Wimax - nobody from MyADSL. C'mon guys ... we are the perfect candidates for these trials since we'll perform all the required tests and give good and constructive feedback.
Let me guess, people who are taking part in these trials, only check their mail once every 2 weeks.
Lets hope that some MyADSL users get chosen.
*sticks hand up for trial consideration*
I am also getting suspicious of these trials...
how likely is is that no myadsl members ever get chosen?
The speeds are terrible, I was hoping for at least 4mb to compete with Telkom
and my 2cent
WHAT ABOUT PE
i wouldn't mind to be trail user.... depending on cost.
Telkom: "Resistance is futile, your money is ours!"
Randburg ---> 20km radius. Wonder if it reaches me :/ Doubt it though
Anyway we have MWEB so if I ever get the trial I will let you all know
MWEB wasn't my choice though I am just sharing the connection with the family living next door on the same property
And then after that they will probably start capping like iBurst didJansen said MWEB will be trialling a number of uncapped connectivity options aimed at the consumer...
