Hard to say obviously depends on codecs used etc. but I've heard a figure of 500KB/min for Skype quoted before.
I'd say about 300KB to 500KB, I'll try to measure it next time I'm on Skype![]()

Depends on codec, PC-skype uses on adsl line about 6-8 kb send, and another 4-8 on recieve. so u can say a average of around 6.5 up and 6.5 down. or a combined rate of around 13kb per sec (wich gives u around 780kb per minute) (if you use Virgin mobile wich uses GPRS / EDGE at 50cents per meg thats around 35cents to 40cents per minute)
But it will vary
Skype also uses "0-0.5 kilobytes/sec while idle".Skype automatically selects the best codec depending on the connection between yourself and the person you are calling. On average, Skype uses between 3-16 kilobytes/sec depending on bandwidth available for other party, network conditions in between, callers CPU performance, etc.
