    Default Some sad news

    Morning Everyone,

As some of you might have notice, my posting has been mighty thin over the last month or so. The reason for this is that I have resigned from Vodacom with my last day being this past Thursday (31/05)

I will still be able to assist on a personal level, but access to the datacards etc will be limited.

Thanks to all of you whom has posted on this forum showing how strong the Linux guys are and that we don't just give up at the sight of a broken window...

    Enjoy it !!!!

    Hi Tazz_Tux

This is sad news, but good to hear that you will still be around to help our Linux forumites - your efforts are very much appreciated, and all the best with your future endeavours .

I have applied the changes you requested.

    Regards

    ic.

    Eish!

Sorry to hear that Tazz_Tux, but I hope it's at least better for you - meaning your resignation and whatever future plans you have for yourself...

I feel sure that we'll always manage to find the solutions to our Linux problems.. but your inside insight will no doubt be sorely missed! - I would probably not ever have even considered buying and trying a datacard initially without the assurance that it could be made to work on Linux.

    Thanks!

    Hey Tazz

More than 90% of what I know about Linux, I learnt from you. I would never even have thought of trying out Linux if I had not read your initial thread in the Vodacom forum. I also greatly appreciate all the assist you provided me with to get my Moto V1050 and Huawei E220 working in linux.

As you saw in another thread I used my linux OS to save my Xp when it was screwed up. I couldn't have done it without you.

Wishing you well in your future endeavours

    Hey Tazz

Sad news indeed. I hope that you find fulfilment in your new pursuit though

But you have been a huge help: when I started in this forum I didn't even know what Linux was, thanks to you and others, I also now use Linux to fix my broken cr@p@$$ Windo$e system! And of course, I'm well on my way to being cured of the Microsoft disease!
