Change Billion Router IP Address

I've tried changing the IP address in a Billion wireless router to 198.54.75.254 from the standard 192.168.1.254 so it can fit in with an existing network but it refuses to accept it. Anyone know why and what I can do to change it?

i take it after you changed the ip address you click on "apply" wait for the confirmation block click on "ok" and then "save config to flash" and then "apply" again? if it doesnt save contact vendor.
