OK, so when you use opera mini you have the option to change the qulaity of the web page, for which when you doing forum stuff, or other printed material its fine, and it saves you about half the cost.

Anyone know if this can be done in Opera for PC. Makes sense especially for us capped/data charges bulllshiit.

If i'm hanging out here and using 50 megs a week in data, and i have the option for lower quality that will save me nearly half the amount of megs, then i going with that option.

You guys get my drift?

Cant find any option like that in OPera though.

Opera has three image options.

1. Images on
2. Images off
3 Show only cached images

The third option would probably save quote a bit of data. Also, most of what you see in terms of images is normally just ads. So be sure to get yourself a good adblocker.

Search around, if i remember correctly opera does have inbuilt adblocker functionality. Although, in my experience it is a little finicky.

Another option would be to use a web accelerator like onspeed, it works exactly the same as opera mini. It lowers the data usage through compression techniques which include the lowering of image quality.
