Rugby World Cup - Upsets

There has to be at least one or two upsets in world cup!! Surely?!?! where do you think they are most likely going happen. Does USA have ANY chance of beating the English?
 
tonites games!!

laugh the argies beat the french !! would be a laugh!
 
(Tonite, Friday) Well Argentina is a good team, i think they have a chance of winning. French is a good team tho, its not gonne be easy.

(Saturday) New Zealand vs Italy (NZ will own Italy)

(Saturday) Australia vs Japan (Japan better bring some Karate to the field :>>)

(Saturday) England vs USA (No doubt England will win)

(Sunday) Wales vs Canada (I'm betting on wales but Canada has been working hard)

(Sunday) SA vs Somoa. (Somoa is basically the All Blacks. That isn't gonne be a easy game either.)

(Sunday) Scotland vs Portugal (Scotland is a better team, i'm betting they win)
 
Tonight will set the tone for the rest of the world cup...!!
If theres an upset tonight...i guarantee more to follow...
 
I doubt there will be any major upsets, Rugby normally goes according to script. Samoa have beaten Wales in 2 world cups and France beating Nz in the semi finals in 1999 was also a bit of a upset but other than that sides have come close but not quite. I still maintain Argentina have a better than average chance of beating France tonight, just depends which French team pitches up. I would imagine the French will be pumped out of their socks tonight but a Frenchman is not always that predictable. If more than half the French team are crying during their national anthem before the match they will win by 25, if not, they will win by 3 or maybe not at all...

I will be gnashing on my teeth for the argies but I think France will in the end win by say 12.
NZ by 50+?
Au by 60+? am I greedy?
Eng by 20+?
Wales by 10+?
SA by 17+? am I an optimist?
Sco by 20+? taking a chance...
 
so i guess the high road for SA would be Wales in quarters and Argentina in the semis, spectacular start to the world cup and there werent enough frenchmen crying during their anthems while just about every argentinian was bawling his eyes out. my word they were hungry...
 
Wikkid Match indeed. Argentina played well. They basically scored points, and disrupted the French's play when they got some momentum going. Tackled and defended very nicely.

Hope there aren't any more upsets tho :>>>
